inline is built to let you research and trade tokens without collecting anything about you. This page explains exactly what that means.
01 — THE SHORT VERSION
- inline does not collect, store or transmit your personal data.
- No accounts, no signup, no analytics, no cookies from us.
- No tracking, no ads, no data selling. Ever.
- Research happens in your browser; trading happens through your own wallet.
02 — WHAT INLINE DOES
inline is a Chrome extension. When you hover over a contract address (a "CA") in a post on X, it shows a token panel with metrics and a chart without you leaving the page. When you choose to trade, the panel connects to your own wallet and routes the transaction through Jupiter — with your explicit approval at every step.
03 — DATA WE COLLECT
None. inline has no servers that receive your data, no user accounts and no sign-in. We never see your browsing history, the posts you read, the addresses you hover, or who you are.
04 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
To display a chart and metrics, the extension requests public token data (price, market cap, liquidity, volume and chart history) from public blockchain data providers such as DEX Screener and Solscan.
If you trade, quote and transaction requests are sent to Jupiter. Your wallet — not inline — signs and submits transactions. The contract address you are viewing is sent to those providers to fetch data or quotes; it is never sent to us. How those providers handle requests is governed by their own privacy policies.
05 — PERMISSIONS THE EXTENSION USES
inline requests access to pages on x.com so it can detect contract addresses inside posts and render the hover panel. That access is used only for this purpose and only inside your browser. It is never used to read, store or send the rest of the page or your activity anywhere else.
06 — YOUR WALLET, YOUR KEYS
inline never asks for your seed phrase and never receives your private keys. Wallet connection happens through your wallet's own interface, and every transaction requires your explicit approval in that wallet.
07 — LOCAL STORAGE
If you change a setting in inline, it is saved locally in your own browser. It stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.
08 — WHAT WE NEVER DO
- We never sell, rent or share your data — there is no data to sell.
- We never run analytics or tracking on you.
- We never show ads or sponsored tokens.
- We never see, hold or transmit your keys or seed phrase.
09 — CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be called out plainly.
